Free-standing portable greenhouse kits, the Green Giant is available in our heavy duty 6 mm standard twin wall polycarbonate panels. These greenhouse kits are compact and roomy. The barn-shape design gives more headroom and growing space than the traditional A-shape glass-houses. The Green Giant greenhouse offers the best in strength, safety, light diffusion and heat isolation. The locking (lock not provided) double door makes for easy entry and exit.
Engineered with a "push and fit" design the Green Giant hobby greenhouse kits are true do it yourself backyard additions, saving you time and money. Generally two or more people can assemble this unit in a single weekend. Easy to understand step by step assembly instructions and a CD-ROM assembly video are included with your purchase.

Engineered with "push and fit" connectors these units are extremely easy to assemble, while the modular design allows for future additions to you greenhouse kit. Don't let the PVC construction fool you! The Rion greenhouse is extremely strong with the roof tested to hold an incredible 1,100 pounds of snow! This is equivalent to 50 kg/m² or 10.25 lbs/sq ft. These greenhouse kits have also withstood 80 mph wind gusts. Despite this testing Rion Greenhouses are NOT load-rated structures.
Obtaining necessary permits is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Check with your local building department for any structural requirements.
Shipping & Packaging - Since the Rion greenhouse kits are made with lightweight PVC and polycarbonate panels it eliminates the need to unload heavy steel components from an 18 wheel truck. Our units are shipped in as few as three boxes - designed to make sure the product gets to you exactly as it should. We are 98% successful!!! All units are shipped by UPS Ground for your convenience. Of course for the 2% we will always UPS the missing or broken part immediately.
