Standard Fiberglass Mesh and Premium Screen

All units over 30″ in width require a spreader bar (the bar in the center of the vents). Under 30″ is optional and must be noted on the order if they are not wanted.

Twin Units (TW) and Triple Units (TR) do not come pre-assembled. They are field mulled.

How do I determine the hinge of a door?

The hinge side for inswing and outswing doors are always determined from outside looking in.

Are all doors installed from the exterior?

No. Inswing doors are installed from the interior.

Sizing

  • Max: 48″ x 102″ or 60″ x 96″
  • Min: 12″ x 24″ for a 3-vent unit

All verticals have a 1 7/8″ frame depth that recesses into the opening.

All Porch Conversions units have a 7/8″ front mounting flange.

Standard door sizes are 32″, 34″ and 36″ x 80″. Custom doors are available up to 42″ x 96″.

The minimum leg heigh is 6″.

We have an online order form that has all the necessary questions that need to be completed to fulfill your order in a timely manner.

When we receive an order, we will first send it to you as a quote. If everything is correct, you will need to confirm before it is converted to an order. Once you have confirmed and it is converted, no changes can be made..

TW is a twin unit. This is two window units and one mull. TR is a triple unit, so it has three window units and two mulls..

Care & Cleaning

Either the vinyl cleaner and preservative, Woolite and water or Murphy’s Oil Soap and water: about a capful to one gallon of water. Dry with a soft cloth. Never use harsh chemicals such as ammonia.

Clean and lubricate the tracks with a dry silicone-based lubricant.

The aluminum components of the frame/sash members are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the windows. The powder coated paint finish is warranted against blistering, peeling, cracking, or chipping from normal intended usage for a period of 10 years from the date of installation to the original purchaser. The vinyl is warranted to be free of defects resulting in material obstruction of vision and cracking for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions. The screen and moving parts shall be warranted for a period of (2) years on the material only from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions.

Covid-19 Impacts

The manufacturer of this product has a complex supply chain and has been significantly impacted by the 2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Warranty

Aluminum Frame

The aluminum components of the frame/sash members are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the windows. The powder coated paint finish is warranted against blistering, peeling, cracking or chipping from normal intended usage for a period of 10 years from the date of installation to the original purchaser.

Vinyl Glazing

The vinyl is warranted to be free of defects resulting in material obstruction of vision and cracking for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions, provided the vinyl is conditioned annually with the recommended vinyl cleaner. Vinyl has prevalent characteristics such as bubbles, blurs and hairline scratches that should be expected, as they are inherent qualities..

Screen and Moving Parts

The screen and moving parts shall be warranted for a period of (2) years on the material only from the date of delivery by Porch Conversions.

Installation Difficulty

The screen panels or window panels in this kit come fully assembled unlike the "S" series (with hyperlink). No need for many cuts or rolling in the screen on site. Some cuts to install the expander channel or 2x2 horizontals and verticals may be required depending on the opening. This would have average complexity for a DIY project and should be installed within a day for most standard sizes. We are always available for support if you have questions during construction.

Shipping

Shipping to your home or cottage is included with the price. Units are shipped via Company Truck where possible and otherwise would ship Common Carrier/Freight Truck, using several different Common Carrier companies which are selected at the discretion of our represented manufacturers. To help avoid damages some of our "materials supplied kits," which have materials longer than 8', may be cut in multiple pieces; any of these materials may be cut to any lengths and spliced at any location as required.
